We now have set this weekend up for filming. So we shall finally be able to get our last shots done, provided everything goes to plan. I shall update after the weekend to state how the filming went.

Unfortunately, there has been a lot of bad weather recently which has delayed our filming schedule somewhat. Hopefully, we should be back on track again soon providing the weather picks up. We have got the majority of our indoor scenes filmed, so until we’re able to film our outdoor scenes, we shall edit the indoor ones.

Yesterday lunch time the first shot of our music video was recorded. We are now off to a start with our production and shall be continuing to film the rest of our video to the best of our ability.

The shots we got yesterday we are rather happy with and even shot some alternatives, incase when we get to editing we find our original shots don’t seem to fit well enough.

Recently I have noticed that the theme I have chosen for my blog has unfortunately not been corresponding with images. I.e. I have uploaded images and because of the layout being thin, images have ended up underneath the side links. Also the side links look too close together with my current layout, so therefore I shall go and find a new layout now.

The poll for costume ideas has been closed! No more votes will be counted even though the poll will remain open.

Here are the results, and clearly set 2 took the lead!

However, only 3 of the candidates were voted for, and this told me to look further into the results. I saw that a comment had been made on the poll, and the comment gave me an idea that I put forward to the group. Here is a picture of the comment:

We are now going to use the shirt from set 1 and the rest of the costume from set 2. This has shown to be what the public want, and so this is what the public will get! Our market research has been a success!

From the results seen in the previous post, me and my teammates have decided upon the band name ‘Popinjay‘. We have taken note of the fact this was not the most favouritised name with ‘Guess What? Teapot!‘ beating it. However, we did not feel this name suited our intentions of what the band’s appearance should be and how it would be percieved by our target audience.
The main reason for this being that the album name and band name would have been of a similar length, which could be seen as a bit repetitive or too bulky. For this reason we decided on what we percieved to be a more fitting name and so have decided upon ‘Popinjay‘.

We have had a poll running for a few weeks in which the public could vote for their favourite name for the album. We have drawn this poll to a close and the votes have been counted with signs that ‘Jackaroo, I ♥ Ewe‘ is the clear winner.

Me and my teammates are happy with this decision as it was a favourite among us during the process of creating the names. We are therefore delighted the voting public agree.

I would like to apologise for my lack of updates up to now. I have been very busy trying to organise all my analyses and cd cover plans together so that I may upload them all at once to make sure I don’t miss anything off. I shall hopefully have them all added tomorrow after college. After which I will be up to date with everything and shall insure that I don’t fall behind again. I shall now add updates of what has recently happened in regards to our polls and what has been selected.

I shall be working alongside two other candidates to create the final piece. These are Thomas Griffiths (0601) and Rebecca Baines (0513)
